It's late, and we find out that it's been a while since the last time we saw Nyx. We learn that she's still in love with him, and that she wants to marry him. We also learn that he's hiding something important from Nyx, which is why he pretended to be a girl in order to get to her. Nyx has told him that she loves him, but she doesn't want him to suspect her of anything. She's just trying to protect him, she tells us.
