In this chapter, Dr. Bledsoe explains that the monster that inhabits the moon is the queen bee, a creature that produces the eggs that hatch into the next generation of monsters. The queen bee is the source of all life on the moon, and she is responsible for all of the creatures that inhabit the moon. She is also responsible for the rise in the temperature of the Earth's atmosphere, which has led to the growth of the monster population. The chapter ends with a thank-you note from the father of the dead queen bee.
