It's been a while since we've seen any of this stuff, but now we're back in the cradle again. We're introduced to a new character, who's a bit of a mystery to us. He's not really a mystery at all - he's just a random guy. He doesn't really know what to say, but he does know that he has a lot of questions. The first question is, "what do you think they're supposed to do now?" The second question is "how do they know they need to get by outside the world?" The third question is: "where they need go from here?" The answer to the first two questions is "inside the world" , and the answer to this one is "outside of the world." The question to the third question seems to be, "where do you need to go?" , but the answer is "in the cradle" . This is the cradle, after all, and it's kind of like a prison, except that the prisoners are locked in a room and have no access to the outside world. The only way they can escape the prison is if they want to. They can't leave the prison, because the prison isn't welcoming, and they don't have a lot to gain by escaping.
