The inter-preter tells the Prime Minister that he has come to take over the care of the asylum. The Prime Minister says that he is grateful for the hospitality he has shown the Inter-Preter, and that the asylum has grown under his care to the point that he no longer needs the services of the ser-vices. He says that they have come to eat them all alive. The Inter- Preter rattles over to the throne room, where he intends to chew the skin off of the Governess. The Governess says that she is no match for the people and that they would eat her alive if she were to die. She says that the only way for her to escape from the asylum is to give up and die
