About This Chapter
It's morning, and Hirohito wakes up in the middle of the night. He can't get up because his arm hurts, and he's worried about his memory. He's also worried about what's going to happen to the rest of his party, since they're his guests. He asks if he can find them, but they don't seem to know where to find him. He tells them he'll get them tortured, but he doesn't know if they'll be able to figure out where they are. They're probably heading down below, he says, because they've been trying to bring down the whole system. He promises them that he won't torture them, and they all cry, "Thank god, we're all saved!" . He says that he has no desire to torture anyone, and that's why he didn't want them to torture him in the first place.
