He admits that his eyes have been injured before, and that he and Emma don't want to talk about the incident again. He also admits that he hates Emma. He wants to know why he did it. He says that he wanted to destroy all of Emma's childhood memories, so that Emma would think that he is a despicable person. He hopes that Emma will remember him as a kind and pure man.
