In this chapter, we learn that Caio is in love with Desdemona, and that he wants to confess his love to her. Caio asks his father why he used such a weird concealer to cover his finger print, and Caio tells him that he wanted to hide it so that other mockingbirds wouldn't kill him if Caio didn't confess. He also tells Caio that he's finished his job, and he can put the finger print on his head and wear it all the time.
