The Governess, the Governess's daughter, and her two friends, Macchii and Milady, are in the middle of a game of gym time when Milady interrupts them to tell them that they must all be noisy at once. She tells them that it's better to be one important person than to be a bunch of noisy people. She also tells them to cool down and not get too hot in the sun. She says that she's a "snow woman" , which means she can't wear short sleeves, and the heat makes her feel hotter than a vampire. She suggests that they cool down by eating watermelon and drinking water melons, which are cold drinks. She then tells her friend that she has an idea for cooling down: she wants to find a way to make the blood "run cold" when there are other people around. She wants to go to a cave and find a note that says someone has been murdered and that they should look for the headless body. They go into the cave, find the note, and find the body of someone who was supposed to be murdered. They're relieved that the body is not a vampire's, and they go back to the classroom.
