He then asks her what it means to be "grown-up" from a child's perspective. She adds that she and takahashi both look like grown-ups, but they differ in their ages. She also tells the narrator that even though they are different ages, they both have grown up. She tells him that she can't keep her hair from growing long, because it gets "hard to hold," but that she thinks she'll keep it forever.
