The narrator begins this chapter by telling us that he hates men. He hates his dad, who drinks and gambles and is dirty. He once caught his dad inserting a "supository" into his daughter's mouth. The narrator tells us that his dad works hard for his family and that a man has to have hobbies. He says that it is not fun having his own daughter catch him in the act of inserting the suppository.
