About This Chapter
In this short scene, we learn that the young protagonist is a big fan of jin-takamura. He tells us that he was "born a human" and that jin is "every mans hero" . He says that he looks up to him because he reminds him of his own childhood, and he wants to be like him. He also says that there are no real men like him on the big screen these days, so he'd "love to meet him just once !" . They're having lunch together, and they decide to take a break before going back into the shop. When they get back to the shop, jin asks if he can have an autograph. The protagonist says he's a huge fan, and that he always loved jin. He's glad that he became an idol, because it brings him back to his childhood. He thanks takamura for the food, and says he has a paper in his car that he would like to use as his "life's bible." . . Everyone only sees him in his films, but he really loves the real him, too. He asks why jin seems to have a thing for him, and jin says that it's his "true self" that he wants him to show. He wants to use his body to show jin that he is his true self, and the protagonist agrees.
