At the beginning of this chapter, we are introduced to the two young idols, Kentaroyamamoto and Kazuhiko Sagihara, who have come to live with the Inugane family. Kentaro, who is the shortest of the two, asks the family to spare his life, but they refuse, saying that they have become idols for him. The two go on to say that they will do anything for the sake of becoming idols for Kentaro. The company president of the idol industry tells them that there is a lot of profit to be made from the idol business, and Kentaro says that he will do whatever it takes to become an idol. He tells the family that he is going to go to thailand to get sex changes and body plastic surgery, and he will not force them to become idols. He says that if they do not make the right choice, he will kill them. The family tells Kentaro that they hope he will come to their concert the next week, and that one year later they will hope that the same person will attend the same concert. They also tell him that they are going to undergo brainwashing in order to become idol-like.
