The narrator introduces us to a new character: Yui, the new research student. He's excited to meet her, because she's brought in a "civilian" to help her with her experiments. Yui's a little worried that the other students will find out where they live, but she'll be fine. She's also worried that they'll find out that she ran away from her family when she was a kid, so she wants to make sure that she doesn't do anything wrong. She wants to know why she hasn't had her "junk" taken from her, and why she didn't have any surgery done on her. The narrator is all, "I guess if I did anything wrong, it was running from my father" . The other students are all excited to see Yui. They're all like, "Whoa, you scared me" , and Yui is all "I don't know what you're talking about, but I'm sure I did something wrong, and it's fine, I'll tell you what I did."
