About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a description of the progress made on the Akihabara. The first aid for the anchor is complete, and the halter is back in Hirohito's body. The chapter then turns to the question of whether or not they should kill Nemo. Nemo says that they should, since they were the ones who created the superweapon, and they should be able to use the trigger finger to kill him. Nemo replies that they don't have to fear death, since he has nothing to fear from the attack. He says that if anyone wants to kill Nemo, they should do it. He compares Nemo to the "baneful god" and says that he is beyond human understanding. Nemo responds by saying that he knows one who is a true human, and that he has friends in the Japanese forces, too. He suggests that the situation should be under control and that the first priority should be to protect the people.
