About This Chapter
"Master authentication" This is the first time we see Nemo's voice, and it's clear that he's trying to figure out what's going on. He's got a lot of questions to ask, and he'd like to know the answer to one of them. First things first: the anchor is a machine, and the only way to control it is to find the right master. The anchor has lost her will, and is no longer able to do anything without a master's permission. The only thing that's left to do is ask for permission to use the anchor as a weapon. The answer, of course, is "yes" . The next question is "what else do you want?" The answer is "to confirm that the anchor has free will" , which means that she can do whatever she wants with the help of the anchor. The last question is, "what basis did you use to convince Nemo to be the master of the ship?" . Nemo is all, "I'm sorry, but I don't need to kill anyone." The answer to that is "no." The only problem is that Nemo doesn't have free will, so he can't kill anyone.
