He says that he will be coming back the next day and will leave on Monday. Everyone is worried that this is a hoax, but the narrator tells them that it is because she is tired of the "faith" and the "selfishness" of her life. She says that she does not need the money and that she is free to do what she likes. She tells the men that she wants them to continue to use their money as they like.
