When she learns that he is a member of the upper class, she tells him that his mother is from a "weird cult" with a badge on her arm. He tells her that he won a scholarship to study at the university because his mother fought for him to become a rich man. He says that he was a fool to let her have the scholarship, and now he has to work his ass off to support himself.
