In this short scene, we get a glimpse of Hiroshi's flirting with his bear. He's worried that Hiroshi might be released soon, so he's been trying to get Hiroshi to come visit him. Hiroshi has been busy with his studies at the university, so Hiroshi doesn't have time to go see Hiroshi. He asks Hiroshi if he can bring him some fresh rice from his hometown, and Hiroshi says he'll give it to him as a kind of thank you. He tells Hiroshi that he came to the university so that he could follow in the footsteps of a teacher he admires, and that's why he chose the university. He also says that the walls of the university are thin, so it's hard to whisper in there. He finally tells the bear that he has to go shopping with Hiroshi, and the bear freaks out.
