In this short scene, Su'suda tries to convince himself that he's not in love with Izuru. He's just been flirting with Ruchika, and he doesn't want to be seen flirting with her again. He tells himself that the night festival is over, and that he needs to go back to school. Su'uda tells himself to be quiet and not to worry about what people are thinking about him. He also tells himself not to get too worked up about what happened the night before, because it's too late. He says that he wants to go to lunch, but he can't find a bench to sit on, so he goes off to find some books to read. When he gets back, he finds that everyone is talking about how Izu kissed her, and how she didn't like it. He asks himself why everyone is acting like he should never have acted the way he did, and then asks himself if he could talk to anyone after school, since everyone seems to be acting like they don't know what they're talking about.
