We learn that the director is very impressed with the actor's performance in the film, and that the rain is forecast to stop in a few hours. The two of them decide to go down to the rain-soaked mountain to get some ice packs and hot water to help them deal with the storm. The director, however, is not so sure about the weather forecast. He says that the storm will stop tomorrow, but that the accompanying doctor is sick with a cold, so they will have to go to the doctor's house to get him some fresh ice packs. They decide that they are the only two people on the set who are healthy, and they will try their best to care for everyone. The doctor is still sick, and the two young men decide to help him. They also decide to keep their childhood friendship a secret from each other, so that they won't get into trouble if something happens to the boy.
