In this chapter, the hedgehog and the flower talk about their feelings for each other. The hedgehog says that he's not letting go of his hand if the girl doesn't like him. The flower says that the girl already knew about her feelings for the hedgehog, and that she's already figured out that the hedgehog likes her. The two hedgehogs continue to argue about whether or not the girl likes the hedgehog. The father says that it's okay for the two of them to get along, but the girl needs to be careful not to get too close to the hedgehog before he approves of her. He suggests that they continue getting along just like they always do.
