About This Chapter
The narrator asks the gang how they escaped, and the man tells him that they had to hide their past because of the surveillance cameras. The narrator tells the man that he might think that the man is terrible after learning about the incident, but the man assures him that he is still kind. The man tells the narrator that the first time he met the man, he warned him that there are dangers in life, but he is not telling the man because he wants to protect the man from using the warning to scare him. The boy tells the boy that he has a low self-assessment, and he says that he can see no one coming up to greet them. He says that there is another surveillance camera, and that he and the boy are "just ordinary classmates." The boy says he will go to his room, change into his shirt, and wait for the elevator.
