About This Chapter
The scene opens with a clap of teacher's clacking, followed by the sound of footsteps. It is the end of class, and the students have made up. The teacher asks the students to pick up their bicycles and return to the dormitory. The students do so, and one of the students tells the teacher that he has come to see the injured student because he was worried that the student might need help. The other students are surprised to see that the teacher is not in the classroom, as he had been teaching in the dormitory during the holiday period. He tells the student that the sports festival is coming up, and that they have to make it for the honor of the prize.
