About This Chapter
The hedgehog tells his father that his cell phone suddenly stopped working. He tells the man that he's going back to his room and that he has something to tell him. He says that if the man won't let him in, he'll shut the door and never see him again. The man says that he doesn't mind, and the hedgehog says that's fine. He's just not used to being scared of his father. The boy tells him that he looks outside the window and wonders if the world around him is completely different from the one he sees in his fantasy. He compares his father to a "little old fashioned" man who seems to be "a little good a bit" . He also says that his father seems to have a "bad temper" , and that his mother adds "old fashioned" to her description of him. The girl says that she's found a picture of her childhood village on the internet, but she can't find it. She says that her father mistreated her and her mother, and so they escaped from there.
