It's the morning of the second day of the sports festival, and we're introduced to a new character. He's named Ming, and he's a friend of Ming's father. Ming asks Ming to call him by his name, and Ming tells him that he'll be going to see his friend alain off to his country. Ming is relieved that her father won't disapprove of her having a boyfriend. Ming tells Ming that she's not worried about the situation anymore, because she'll just have to eat by herself. Ming says that the hotel arranged for the school to make up for her dorm attendance the night before, so Ming can go back to school. Ming thanks Ming for helping her out, and then Ming tells her that uncle jin isn't happy about the fact that she has a boyfriend, and that he wants her to marry someone else. Ming doesn't believe him, and says that he was the one who disrespected her the first time. She says that she apologizes to Ming the next time she sees him, because her family is a "sinister cave" . Ming wants to know what's going on in the journalism department, so he tells her to go to the library and revise some things. He also wants to go for a walk, since there's no free movie tonight.
