In this chapter, we learn that the witches are planning to exchange some money, but they don't yet know how much they're going to need to do so. They're worried that they'll run out of money before the exchange is over, but the witches reassure them that they won't be too stressed out by the exchange. The witches decide to exchange 250 lensesha, which is about the amount of money they need to buy food for the king and his retinue. This is a lot of money, and it's not like they have much money to spend on food. They decide to go to the city of prencia, where they can exchange some more lensesha.
