It's been a long time since we've seen the world, but now it feels like it's finally coming into its own. We're introduced to a bunch of new characters, all of whom are trying to figure out how to get home safely. One of them is trying to find out if she's a good witch. The other two are worried about whether or not she'll be able to get the light she needs to see. The third one is worried about what the test will be like, since she doesn't know how to measure her magic. She's also worried about how embarrassing it will be to see her blood on her hands.
