In this short story, Kim lum explains that he has come to live in the afterlife because he was unhappy in his life. Everyone expected him to be a great person, but he was always disappointed in himself. One day, when he was escorted to the afterlife, he was able to see and hear the voice of Elssarly again. He tells her that if they had not switched their souls, she would not have been able to live a normal life. She would have been a pure witch with magical powers, and she would have made friends with her maid, Sonya. Everyone hated her because she was a soul, not a body, and so she should give her soul another chance.
