In this short scene, we are introduced to a new character named "Rub" , who has just returned from a trip to the "devil's den" . We learn that he is a member of the Ashnaven manor party, and that he has been sent there by "Sir ayler" to meet with his "dear sabine." We also learn that the "very ayler grunt" is the same voice that we heard in the previous scene. We are also introduced to the new character's wardrobe, which consists of a vest, a pocket watch, a long scarf, and a coat.
