About This Chapter
It's been a while since we've seen Jessica, but she's feeling pretty good about herself. She's got a new voice, and it's telling her that she should be grateful for what she has, because she would be better off dead. Jessica is shocked that Jessica would think that erica could control souls after her death. Jessica says that she didn't know what he was talking about, but that's okay, because erica couldn't control souls. Jessica asks Jessica if she thinks that she could control the younger erica, and Jessica says no, since erica was only a half-wit. Jessica then asks Jessica what he meant by that. Jessica replies that she was just trying to make her sister's suicide meaningless. Jessica, of course, knows that Jessica was the one who said erica should die. Jessica wonders what he means by that, but Jessica says he meant that she shouldn't be allowed to control souls, since she could do so. Jessica finally asks Jessica to choose her answer wisely, and says she'
