When the sled finally reaches the top of the mountain, the rider is overcome with happiness. He kisses his beloved, who has made him forget all about his troubles. He wishes he could hug her again, but he can't because of the wet grip on his body. He's worried that he's been drinking too much, and he wishes he were more energetic, so that he could take more time to climb the mountain. When they reach the top, however, there's a last-minute change in the way they're going, and they have to split up into three groups to get to the top.
