In this short scene, the young man who is Haruki's lover tries to make Haruki fall in love with him. Haruki, however, is not interested in making love to him; instead, he wants to make love to his "young carnivorous boyfriend" . The young man is overcome with emotion at the idea of making Haruki love him, and he begs Haruki to come closer, but Haruki hesitates, saying, "I'm not really a match for you . ." Haruki finally relents, and they kiss passionately.
