Yumizuki asks if he can carry the girl out of the hot room. He's worried that the signal on his phone is out, and he's going to have to go to a higher place to get it. He looks around to see if there's a way to get the signal, but he can't figure out how to do it. When he looks around, he sees that his phone isn't in range of the signal. He wonders if it's out of service, too, and wonders if something is wrong. He taps the wrong number, and the signal is out. He asks if the girl was hit in the head, and she says no, and they both have mild scrapes. They need to talk, so they start to talk. They're in the middle of a conversation when they hear a knock on the door. It's not a knock, but a knock from the other side of the room. The girl's fever has gone down, and her mom is asking her about it. She says that she's in a new room, and that's where they'll be staying for the night. She asks if she can talk to her mom, but she doesn't want to, because she feels like her fever is gone. She tells him that she came down with the fever from her own carelessness, and it was all his fault. He says that he'll do the dirty work for her, but that he won't be able to just run away.
