The chapter opens with a tap on the door of Yumizuki's house. It's the chairman of the local committee, and he's just returned from work. He's excited to see his old friend, but he doesn't know what to make of the tap on his door. The tap asks him if he'd like to know what's going on with Kujo, and the committee chairman says he'll have to wait until he wakes up. Yumezuki asks him to go to the zoo, which he hasn't done in a long time. The zoo's animals are friendly, and its younger brother is cool, too. He asks if she wants to see the war-like gorillas, and she says she's seen them before, but they're not as ferocious as she thought they would be. The committee chairman tells her to go ahead and tell the boss about it, because the boss will be able to figure out what she means.
