He asks his father why he is so far away from home, and he is told that his father loves him. He tells his father that he is not the type of person who will put everything on the line to win a woman's love. He says he is envious of how she acted like a woman, and that he would like to be like her. He drinks with his father, and the conversation turns to his daughter, who is not at his house.
