The next morning, Yumizuki and sasaki wake up to find that their phones are out of range. Unsure of how they're supposed to get back to the temple, they decide to go for a walk. They bump into each other on the way out, and they realize that they've fallen into a deep ravine. Yumezuki apologizes, saying that he slapped too hard, and he blames himself for their predicament. He says that he's worried about his boyfriend's reaction to his flirting, and that he wants to monopolize his attention. He tells her that he likes to collect temples and that his boyfriend wants to study them. He's happy to have people like her join his school, and she's excited to see them.
