The Governess and her younger colleague, the Governess's younger sister, are on their way to a shopping excursion in the Hawaiian Islands. The two of them go to a department store to check out some of the latest fashions and then head back to their hotel. They are interrupted by the arrival of a breathless Governess, who has just arrived from a shopping expedition in the Indian Ocean. She is eager to see the sights of the island, but her younger sister refuses to let her in the hotel room. She wants to know what is wrong with her sister's dress, and the two exchange glances. The younger Governess tries to get the younger sister to leave the room, but she refuses, saying that she has to go back to her room to change into her new clothes
