The scene opens with the narrator lamenting that his younger colleague is "too unfriendly" and that he is going to "put it inside" of her. He tells her that he wants her to know that he loves her so much that he squeezes her pant so tightly that it makes her twitch and fall. He then sends her a sticker that says "this one will file next" . The narrator then apologizes for the previous day's behavior, saying that he wanted to go out with his "boy friend" but that he was disappointed that he did not get the chance to do so. He says that he does not know if the boy friend is a "bad guy" because he has not yet decided if he is a good guy or a bad guy. He goes on to say that he will keep quiet about the matter until he has more time to think about it. He also says that it is not like he can decide if the "boyfriend" is a bad person because he is not sure if he has ever liked him. He adds that he would like to help him out if he can, but that it would be awkward if he were to help someone else. He asks the narrator if it is proper for him to "speak ill of someone on specula" , but the narrator says it is just because he just has a bad feeling about the boyfriend.
