The other employee tells the narrator that he has been waiting for her all the time and that she has not even looked at him. The narrator tells him that he will get caught if they see him, but he says that he is not a stalker. He asks if he has started working for the company the whole time, and he says he has not, but that he feels like he is making mistakes at work. He says he will talk to him when he feels that he needs to, but says he cannot do anything. The man says that it is cold outside, and the narrator says that the man is drinking too much. He calls for a taxi to bring the man home, but the man refuses, saying that he does not have anything to do with the man. He then says that they know each other from school, and that they are friends of the woman they have been drinking with. The woman says that she will take care of the man, who looks like she is about to drink too much, and will not be able to bring her home safely.
