She realizes that she has made a mistake by getting the older colleague cited for being too hot the day before, and she feels as though she is the worst person in the world for doing such a thing. She wants to go home, but she is interrupted by the groan of the pant. She tells the pant that she needs to tell him something, and the pant says that he should forget about everything else. She asks him if he was sad when he did the same thing to her, and he replies that he was also sad when she did it to him. She says that she looks at him and thinks that he is still there. She glances at the light and thinks someone is still in the room.
