The scene opens with Shmoop and his younger colleague pushing each other around the room, trying to get them to push each other harder. The two of them try to do it, but Shmoops can't get the younger man to push him, so he pushes back. The younger man tries to push back, but the older man pushes him back, saying that he's too tired to push anymore. The older man finally relents, and they go back inside to eat some dessert. The young man says that he made a promise to his sister that he would push her younger sister harder if she didn't push him any harder. He's bummed that his sister doesn't want him to push his younger sister, but he promises to keep his promise.
