In this scene, Bulgar tells his servant, Shuyu, that he is afraid that his youngest daughter, the infant, will interrupt his conversation with Bulgar's eldest daughter. He asks Shuyu to bring him to the infant's house so that he can discuss with him how to obtain blood from the King of the Southland and the Princess. Shuyu tells Bulgar that the princess looks like she is going to eat him alive, and Bulgar thinks that she is trying to keep him alive by sucking his essence.
