When Zillah asks why he's following him, Zillah says that he'll take him back to Did-Linan, and then they'll have a good time. Zillah throws the letter over the side of the carriage and says that it's about the prince. He's not going to tear it up, though, because the letter is about hua-yan, and he doesn't want to upset him. He tells Zillah that he has to go to the south because he has a cold, and that's why he can't go all the way to the north. He asks Zillah to take him to a place where he can get some rest, and Zillah agrees. They're going to have a great time.
