The King of Southland is surprised to see the King of China attacking his palace. He tells the King that he will not allow the south to become as strong as he is, but he is the king of the south. The King asks the King if he has thought of killing him, and the King replies that he has not. He says that if the King were to find out about the killing of his secret guards, he would have no choice but to kill himself. If the King does not kill himself, the King says, he will continue to live as a loyal member of the royal family. He promises to announce his position to the whole southwest region if the royal house does not resist. He then shows the King a pen and paper, which he plans to give to the King. He explains that he is going to show the King how he escaped from the city and the palace.
