The chapter ends with a description of the attack on the ship, which Hiromi describes as a "hack" and a "cyberization" of the ship's crew. In the flashback, Hiromi explains that the attack was carried out by the same group of soldiers who attacked the ship the previous day, and that they are now attacking the ship again.
