In this chapter, Tommo continues his argument against ghosts. He says that ghosts are like living beings, and that they need to be kept alive. He tells Tommo that he heard the news about the partnership between Osaki and the Chinese, and now that he's the one to suffer, he plans to show Osaki management how to run a business. He also tells him that Mikomoto was the one who kept the secret about the ability to predict the future.
