In this short scene, the "charming bandit" tells a young man named A'tang that he can do anything he asks of him. He tells the young man that he heard that he was going to rescue some people at a village called "qingfeng" , and that he's just going to find someone to take him to the village. The young man asks why he won't let him go, and the charitably answers that he doesn't like to be held back. He says he'll give him another chance, and if he wants to marry him, he can choose one of the villages mentioned in the previous scene. He also says that he knows a lot about the bandits in the village, so maybe he can even help out. He teases the man about the medicine bottle falling, and then he promises to pick it up and give it to him.
