A'cheng wonders if the waiter is the one who bullied the master and pupil. He suspects that the waiter was poisoned by the food in the restaurant, and that the master was revenged on the waiter. He tells the boy not to pinch his face in public, and to stay away from the waiter, who is "really dangerous" . The boy tells him that he is not mad at him. He says that he made the master mad so that he does not want him anymore, and the master is gone. He asks the boy where he thinks he is going, and he says that since he was little, he has only one trick master knows to make him happy: to buy him a snack called "tanghulu." The boy asks the master if he still hasn't paid for the snack. The master replies that he will pay back once he has earned some money. He looks at the notice and says that this is their chance to earn money.
