In this short scene, Ruan tries to explain to the young master why A'cheng attacked him the last time. Ruan notices that the police found the earring that Ruan used to wear. He asks for it back, but Ruan tells him that a sicko called another sicko a "sicko" , and Ruan has to laugh about the whole thing for the rest of the day. He tells Ruan to come with him to see the prefect and his wife, but they refuse to let him in. He warns Ruan that if he does not come back by two o'clock, he will go back to tell Ruan's red hair to save him.
