Dr. Ganymede asks the young woman why she has to wear such a short skirt. She tells him that she wants to seduce the Chief. He tells her that he wants her to use the skirt as an excuse to get into a fight with the Chief's dog. She says that she will cut the skirt some more so that the Chief will not be able to see her. She also says that when the time comes, she will lie down and pretend to be injured in order to get the Chief to give her the antidote. The young woman says that her brother, who is serving the Chief, hates the Chief so much that he has to serve him every day. She adds that she hopes that a'cheng will help her brother escape from the Chief and get out of his control. She then tells the young man to go and play with them for a while.
